Mt. Sawi
Location: Gabaldon, Nueva Ecija
Jump Off Pt.: There are two existing trails
1. Dupinga Bridge
2. Brgy. Malinao (Simbahan na Bato)
Elevation: 594 MASL
Hrs to summit: 1.5 hrs.
Specs: Minor Climb, Difficulty: 2/9 (Own perspective)
So we depart from Manila at exactly 11pm and arrived at 4am in Mt. Sawi's jump off. We had our breakfast there so we actually started our trek around 5am, and arrived at the summit at around 6am (depende sa pacing) we just trek for an hour because we used to climb every month.
It was an easy trail for me, first part of the trail is kinda refreshing because of the smell of the trees, there was also water sources along the trail and the latter part of the trail was grassland with sharp edges, some are as tall as a human so you must really be covered with the right attire.
Finally at the top <3
Next top! Viewpoint!
And then island hopping <3

We saw this along the way so we decided to take our group picture here!!!
After an hour we arrived at Dingalan Port and register there. After registration, we started trekking from feeder port to white beach kasi mas mura, 100 per head if you prefer the boat. While trekking, it started to rain so we rushed and walked faster to get to Aling nene's place agad, the shore is a bit rocky, big and small rocks. And after few minutes we finally arrived at Aling Nene's place and the weather changed eventually! Sun came out and we pitch our tents at the shore and started preparing for dinner, socials etc. We were able to use all Aling Nene's kitchen wares! No hassle at all, she's very generous and kind, she even gave us a free rent for the videoke!!!! Amazing and she said that if we go back there, she will cook native tinola for us! <3
At the morning we started trekking to the lighthouse for 30 minutes. <3 Amazing view!!!!!!! Para talagang Batanes <3

We also snorkel in the area and saw beautiful corals <3 If only I know how to free dive that time!
But a month ago I took a free diving class, so my advice is if you really wanna travel a lot, start learning how to swim and FREE DIVE!!!!! I recommend Free Diving Coaches of Asia! they offer a very cheap price for the class! try it!
So the whole trip was super fun! and worth the price! The view at Mt. Sawi and Dingalan's lighthouse and viewpoint will bring you to a "Batanes like" feeling! hahaha you should try to visit this place!!!!
Hope this could help!
