Bicol Escapade... (Caramoan Islands - Naga - Burias Islands)

This escapade was my Holy Week holiday experience last year. Since I just started creating my own blog, I decided to start by including my previous experiences on my travels last year (2017). and I will start sharing our Bicol Invasion <3.

Below is our Itinerary and budget breakdown.

Note: Safe Budget 5k to 6k :) depende sa gastos mo specially sa foods :)

We took a bus to Naga city in cubao (DLTB Bus) the ticket costs P650 (2017 price), actually there's a bus who travels directly to Caramoan which is the Raymond Bus but unfortunately they are  fully booked that time. So we just booked a ticket to Naga city, from there we  took a bus to Caramoan, we met my cousin there at the Market (last stop of the bus) .
Note: Book early if you plan to travel during the Holy week.

Since Caramoan is my mother's province we started our first day there. Unfortunately, due to some circumstances we were not able to follow our itinerary, we arrived at caramoan around 7pm, so we decided to just camp and spend the night in the beach in Paniman port eating, drinking, swimming and waited for the sunrise (zombie mode).

Good morning!!!!!!!!!
At exactly 7am we started our Island Hopping!!! Yahoo...

We had the Long trip package which was discounted because our tour guide is  my cousin and we got it at P6,000 for 12 pax!!! which is supposed to be P8,000. So that's it, we started visiting Manlawi Sand Bar, Cotivas Island, Matukad Island, and Hunongan Island, the islands that we are supposed to visit changed due to strong waves and lack of time, but we enjoyed every bit of this tour.

Unfortunately it's high tide walang sand bar :'(

Before you can go to the lagoon  and witness thmystical bangus  "milk fish"  in this Island you need to climb the rocky and edgy limestone formation as shown in the picture in my friend's back (James) :), It's quite  challenging yet worth it!!!!!! If you're planning to go here, grab the challenge!!!!!!

Look at that view! Amazing right? Luckily I have friends who's always up for the challenge and not afraid of heights!!!

I don't have our pictures in Hunongan cove, but it's as beautiful as the others.
After the whole island adventure it's pahinga time!!! we spent the night in a room for rent in the town proper in caramoan and paid P70 per head. I don't know what is the name of the room for rent but it was suggested by my cousin, don't expect a cozy room for this price but it's a good place to stay for a night tho. I will put my cousin's number below so if ever you're interested you can contact him and hire him as your tour guide :).

That ends our Caramoan adventure!!!

The next day we woke up early to travel to Mt. Isarog but unfortunately we we'ren't allowed to hike because of the weather (signal no. 1) heartbreaking yes :'( so we decided to just stay in Naga and rest in Matt's Inn. We spent our night there for P500.00 only cheap right? they also have wifi and the room is airconditioned I definitely suggest this place!!! It's also near in SM Naga like 15mins  walk I guess :). You can search them on facebook :)

The next day we rushed to Pasacao Port get the first trip to San Pascual where we will start our Burias Tour. Since we woke up late we are all in a hurry!!!!!!! Run and Run and Run! HAHAHA!

How to get to Pasacao Port?
From Naga, one may ride a jeepney or van to Pasacao Port which will take about thirty minutes to one hour. From Pasacao, a two-hour boat ride will take you to Burias Island

We arrived at San pascual around 10am, we had our brunch there and register for the tour.
The Island hopping is P3,000 and we are 8 :). The weather is quite gloomy but luckily they still allowed us to have the tour. Our first stop is Tinalisayan Island, then Sombrero Island where we stayed for a night and pitched our tent (P100 per tent, P50 for the entrance fee).  We spent the whole night singing, eating of course, sharing our stories and laying down on the beach to watch the stars. Relaxing night <3

The next morning we continued our Island hopping and proceed to an island where we jumped on a cliff (I forgot the name of the Island) and last is the Animasola Island my favorite.

Note: There's a schedule of trips in San pascual so better ask them for the time if you don't wanna get stranded :)

The whole tour was a lot of fun! and I can say that It's worth the price.  Hope this could help you on your next trip! :)

Mt. Sawi + Dingalan, Aurora. (Batanes of the east)

I and my friends often travel on a budget-friendly trip. We like hiking and island hopping, so I searched for a place that we could do both. And buwala!!! I found Mt. Sawi and White Beach in Dingalan, Aurora. (August 2017) So I started my research about the place and write our itinerary along with the budget. Reg. Fee Mt. Tipid Cebu Tour 2k18

Cebu is one of the most popular places to visit in the Philippines nowadays, there are a lot of tourist spots that you can pay a visit there especially in South Cebu like Oslob, Kawasan Falls, Tumalog Falls, OsmeΓ±a Peak and Moalboal which are the places we visited in our Cebu tour, but aside from this there are a lot of places that you can include in your tour when you have a lot of time, coz in our case we only had 2 days to tour South Cebu. If you also have like a week vacation you can even visit North Cebu particularly Bantayan Island, San Remigio which has the longest shoreline in Cebu, Malapascua "The Little Boracay" of Cebu and a lot more. But I will only write about our South Cebu tour, for now, soon we will visit North Cebu and write about it as well. We booked our plane ticket 2 months before our tour, luckily PAL has a seat sale that time, so we grab the chance and book our flight for February 23 to 26, 2018, which costs P2,700+ per head Round trip!!!! sup
